My jewelry is handmade using a lead-free (!) soft soldering technique and incorporates natural minerals. A characteristic feature of handmade jewelry is that due to the soldering and the spiked design, some parts of the surface may be slightly uneven, rough, or sharp.
This is not necessarily a defect: it results from the soldering technology and the unique, handmade nature of the jewelry.
What to pay attention to when wearing?
- Sharper or protruding soldered parts may catch on clothing, hair, or other textiles, so it is advisable to put on and take off the jewelry carefully.
- If the jewelry comes into direct contact with the skin, rougher parts may cause discomfort on the skin for those with sensitive skin.
- It is not recommended to wear the jewelry during sleep, sports, or intense physical activity, as it can be easily damaged.
- It is advisable to avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals, as this can also damage the jewelry.
- Minerals are natural materials, so their sensitivity, hardness, and appearance may vary from piece to piece. Some minerals may be sensitive to impact, scratches, heat, water, or sudden temperature changes.
- Store the jewelry separately, in a dry place, so that it does not rub against other jewelry.
- Soft soldered jewelry is made with lead-free soldering tin. Tin is a softer material than silver or gold. Therefore, it is very important to handle the jewelry with extreme care (especially those with larger tin areas), as they can be bent by hand with a little more effort and the setting can break.

Handmade, unique pieces
Each piece of jewelry is handmade, so minor surface variations, soldering marks, and small imperfections may occur. These are natural consequences of handmade production and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.
If a soldered part feels particularly sharp or bothersome while wearing, please do not try to sand or repair it at home, as this could damage the jewelry or the mineral. In such cases, it is advisable to contact me, and I will help find a solution.
Repair and damaged jewelry
Handmade jewelry can be damaged even with proper care. If your jewelry is damaged, it is worth contacting me, as in many cases, it can be repaired or restored.
What types of damage can be repaired?
The possibility of repair always depends on the type and extent of the damage. Among other things, the following may be repairable:
- loosened or detached soldering,
- opened, bent, or deformed metal part,
- damaged or detached component,
- loosened mineral setting,
- minor structural damage resulting from use.
Before repair, I always examine the jewelry and based on that, I can tell you if it can be restored and what intervention is necessary.
When repair is not possible or only possible to a limited extent
Minerals are natural materials, so in case of breakage, cracks, or severe damage, it is not always possible to restore them to their original state. Especially in the case of major breakage or missing mineral parts, it may be that replacing the mineral or partially remaking the jewelry is the only solution.
If a part of the jewelry is lost, please, if possible, keep it and send it to me along with the piece to be repaired – this can facilitate restoration.
Repair process
If you need a repair, please contact me first, send some clear photos of the jewelry and the damaged part. Based on these, I can preliminarily assess the nature of the damage, and then, if necessary, I will examine the jewelry in person.
The cost of repair depends on the extent of the damage, the necessary materials, and the time required for repair, so I can determine the exact amount after examining the jewelry.
You can personally hand over the jewelry to be repaired to me in Budapest in the XIV district, or it can be arranged via courier service.
- If there is a demonstrably faulty performance (i.e., the problem already existed before I sent the product), then the costs associated with handling the warranty claim shall generally be borne by the business, i.e., me. This may include the cost of returning the faulty product.
- If the damage is due to use – for example, dropping, bending, snagging, impact – and this is not a faulty performance, then the cost of repair and delivery to you may be borne by the customer.
